Hours: 2.5 days per week (including half day PPA with job share – Mon, Tues, Weds)
Start: September 2026
Long-term position
Pay: £168 – £233 per day (paid to scale)

We’re seeking an experienced Secondary Teacher to join a well-established school in the Portsmouth area. This role includes full teaching responsibilities, working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to deliver high-quality lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.

You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing pupils, while contributing to the wider school community. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team and make a meaningful impact.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Confident in adapting teaching to meet a range of pupil needs
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
