Contract: Full time andndash; September start

Salary: andpound;163 - andpound;223 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in Psychology and Sociology across KS4 and KS5
• Create dynamic and inclusive lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learners
• Assess, track, and report on student progress, ensuring targets are met
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development
• Attend parent evenings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions
• Uphold the schoolandrsquo;s safeguarding and child protection policies at all times

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Proven experience teaching Psychology and/or Sociology at secondary level, preferably to A-Level
• Excellent knowledge of current curriculum standards and assessment frameworks
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
