Contract: Full time andndash; September start
Salary: andpound;163 - andpound;223 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Psychology and Sociology across KS4 and KS5
- Create dynamic and inclusive lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learners
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, ensuring targets are met
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development
- Attend parent evenings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions
- Uphold the schoolandrsquo;s safeguarding and child protection policies at all times
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching Psychology and/or Sociology at secondary level, preferably to A-Level
- Excellent knowledge of current curriculum standards and assessment frameworks
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
