Role Details

• Location: Hertford & surrounding areas

• Position: Secondary Supply Teacher

• Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing

• Contract: Flexible supply (choose the days you work)

• Pay: Competitive daily rates depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3–KS5 following school lesson plans

• Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour standards

• Ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons

• Adapt teaching approaches to support students of varying abilities

• Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies

• Provide clear feedback to the department or cover manager after lessons

Requirements

• PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting

• Strong classroom management skills

• Confident teaching your specialist subject and supporting general cover if required

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
