      <description>Location: Newport | Salary: 150.00-150.00 Daily | Type: Temporary | Bright Star Talent is recruiting Maths, English and Science Teachers to support a secondary alternative provision in Newport, Isle of Wight. We are looking for qualified teachers with experience teaching their specialist subject across KS3 and KS4, including supporting pupils with GCSE preparation. Experience in alternative provision, SEND or supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs would be particularly valuable. The role:   Plan and deliver lessons in Maths, English or Science, depending on your specialism.   Adapt teaching and resources to meet individual learning needs.   Support pupils with subject knowledge, core skills and GCSE preparation.   Help pupils who have experienced barriers to mainstream education re-engage with learning.   Build positive relationships and maintain clear, consistent classroom routines.   Assess progress and work closely with support staff to help pupils achieve their goals.   We are looking for:   QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.   A specialism in Maths, English or Science.   Experience teaching secondary pupils across KS3 and KS4.
