Secondary Teacher Stoke-on-Trent Full-Time / Part-Time Supply and Long-Term Opportunities Pay: £150 £250 per day (DOE) Hours: School Hours Pay: Weekly Pay About the Opportunity Astro Education is currently recruiting Secondary Teachers to support schools across Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas, including Hanley, Burslem, Tunstall, Longton, Fenton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Kidsgrove, Stoke and Stafford. We are working closely with a number of secondary schools looking for reliable and enthusiastic teachers to provide both day-to-day supply and long-term cover across a range of subjects. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning during staff absences Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential Work collaboratively with school staff and follow safeguarding procedures Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent Experience teaching within a secondary school setting Strong classroom management skills Excellent communication and ..... full job details .....
