Secondary Teacher

Affinity Partnerships are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Secondary school teachers in the Taunton area. We are looking for both experienced and ECT teachers looking to make a difference.We are seeking adaptable teachers who feel confident teaching across KS3 and KS4 and who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day work or longer-term opportunities, we would love to hear from you, for roles starting in September 2026.The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils of all abilities to reach their full potential. Strong classroom management skills and a flexible approach are essential.The successful applicant:Qualified Teachers Status.Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education.Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
