About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Secondary Supply Teachers to support a range of schools across Durham. This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to build confidence, gain varied classroom experience, and benefit from flexible working arrangements.

As a supply teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3-5 within your subject specialism, maintain a positive and structured learning environment, and ensure students remain motivated and on task. You''ll have the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings, from large academies to smaller community schools, allowing you to broaden your experience and find the right fit for your teaching style.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Two recent professional references
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
• Adaptability and confidence across different school environments
