Temporary SENCO (Secondary)BromleyStart: ASAP Contract Until End of the Academic YearWe are currently working with a secondary school in Bromley that is seeking an experienced and committed Temporary SENCO to join their team as soon as possible, for the remainder of the current academic year.This role has been created to add capacity to the SEN department, and the successful candidate will be line-managed by the school''s current SENCO.The RoleSupporting the day-to-day operation of the SEN departmentWorking collaboratively with the existing SENCO to manage SEN provisionSupporting pupils with EHCPs and additional needs across the secondary phaseLiaising with teaching staff, support staff, parents and external agenciesContributing to reviews, paperwork and SEN systems as requiredEnsuring provision aligns with school policies and statutory requirementsThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience working as a SENCO or Deputy / Assistant SENCO in a secondary settingGood working knowledge of EHCPs, SEND Code of Practice and secondary-phase SEN provisionStrong organisation and communication skillsAble to work effectively as part of a team and provide additional capacity where neededAvailable to start immediately on a temporary basisWhy Apply?Supportive SEN team and clear line management structureOpportunity to make a meaningful impact for the remainder of the academic yearWell suited to experienced SENCOs or SEN leaders looking for a short-term roleIf you are available and interested, or ..... full job details .....
