      <description>Location: Hereford | Salary: &amp;pound;25 - &amp;pound;33/hour | Type: Part Time | Location:  Hereford - home and/or community-based tuition  Age range:  Secondary-aged children and young people  Focus:  SEN and Emotionally Based School Avoidance  Quantum Scholars are looking for a caring, patient and experienced  Secondary SEN Tutor  to support young people in and around Hereford.  We are looking for tutors who can provide personalised 1:1 support for secondary-aged learners who may be experiencing  Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) , anxiety, SEND, SEMH needs, or gaps in education. Many of the young people we support may be educated other than at school, awaiting a suitable placement, or require a more flexible and individualised approach to learning.  This role would suit a tutor, teacher, instructor or education professional who has strong experience working with secondary-aged pupils and is confident adapting learning to meet individual needs. The successful tutor will need to provide a calm, nurturing and flexible approach, helping young people build trust, confidence and positive engagement with education.
