We are currently seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to join a school in Cumbria, starting immediately. This role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, effective communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.Day-to-day of the role:Deliver engaging and informative Science lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.Utilise strong subject knowledge to enhance student learning and meet curriculum standards.Maintain effective classroom management skills to create a conducive learning environment.Demonstrate reliability and commitment to the educational development of students.Serve as a good role model for students, embodying compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.Collaborate with other teaching staff to share best practices and improve teaching methodologies.Required Skills and Qualifications:Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Recent relevant experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial.Excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge and classroom management skills.Good interpersonal skills, with attributes of ..... full job details .....
