We are seeking a dynamic and resilient Youth Worker to join our Blackpool-based secondary school team for the 2026/27 academic year.Moving beyond the community centre, you will work directly within the school environment to bridge the gap between academic education and personal development. You will be a relatable role model, supporting students aged 11-16 to overcome barriers to learning, raise their aspirations, and manage their social and emotional well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesMentorship and Intervention: Deliver 1:1 and small group mentoring sessions for students identified as vulnerable or at risk of exclusion.Classroom Support: Bring youth-work energy into the classroom to assist with behaviour management and student engagement.Program Delivery: Plan and facilitate workshops on topics such as healthy relationships, social skills, and emotional resilience.Pastoral Collaboration: Work closely with the school''s Pastoral Leads and SENCo to ensure holistic support for every student.What We''re Looking ForExperience: Significant experience working with teenagers (aged 11-16) in youth clubs, alternative provision, or sports coaching.Resilience: A "Blackpool-strong" attitude you must be able to remain calm, firm, and ..... full job details .....
