Are you an experienced Secondary School Teaching Assistant looking for flexible and rewarding work from September and throughout the (Apply online only) academic year?

As the current school year comes to an end, Stafflex Education is recruiting skilled and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our supply team, supporting secondary schools across Huddersfield and the wider Kirklees area.

Opportunities Available

• Immediate short-term assignments to support schools through the end of the current academic year.
• Long-term placements from September 2026, allowing you to secure work in advance and plan for the new academic year.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience working in a secondary school setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students of all abilities.
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with the confidence to work in a variety of classroom and support environments.
• Experience supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
