Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons, specializing in Food Technology while covering all DT disciplines.
• Guide students in designing, building, and refining projects using a variety of materials and techniques.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel inspired to experiment and innovate.
• Support students in developing technical skills, from cooking to construction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and create exciting learning experiences.

Qualifications andamp; Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology and broader DT disciplines.
• Experience teaching KS3-KS4 students.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in both practical and theoretical lessons.
• Enthusiasm for extracurricular creative projects and school-wide events.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
