Teacher of Religious Education (RE) - St Albans, Hertfordshire

Prospero Teaching is working with a fantastic secondary school that is looking to recruit either an ECT or experienced Teacher of Religious Education (RE). We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school based in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

This position is due to start in September 2026 and is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers. The ideal Teacher of RE will be enthusiastic, committed, and able to inspire students across all key stages.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons within a secondary school setting. This is a large, mixed secondary school with excellent facilities and a strong commitment to staff development.

Teacher of Religious Education (RE) Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• QTS, QTLS, or equivalent
• PGCE / SCITT / Teach First
• Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or related degree
