      <description>Location: London | Salary: 220.00-220.00 Daily | Type: Temporary | Science Teacher - Physics SpecialismContract Type: Short-term coverLocation: Hackney, London, N4Dates: 14/09/2026-18/09/2026 and 05/10/2026-09/10/2026We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics for short-term cover at our academy. This role involves teaching Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (A Level) and is not suitable for ECTs (NQTs).Day-to-day of the role:Teach Physics to students at Key Stage 3, 4, and A Level.Follow the academy''s curriculum and standards to deliver high-quality lessons.Engage and motivate students to achieve their highest potential.Manage classroom settings and ensure a conducive learning environment.Required Skills and Qualifications:Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - candidates without QTS will not be considered.Enhanced DBS check required.A minimum of two satisfactory references.Must be available to start in September 2026.Previous experience in teaching Physics at secondary school level is essential.If you are interested in this position and have the above qualifications, please send over your CV and a cover letter detailing why you are suitable for the role.
