Secondary PE Teacher

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Bradford, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher. The school provides a learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their physical fitness, teamwork, confidence and understanding of sport and physical education.The school is looking to take on a motivated PE Teacher for day-to-day supply or long-term cover opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful PE Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3, Key Stage 4 / KS4 and Key Stage 5 / KS5, supporting GCSE and A Level PE examination preparation, assessing student progress and maintaining effective classroom management.The successful PE Teacher will have: Qualified Teacher Status / QTS with a Physical Education specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply) Experience teaching Physical Education within a UK secondary school Strong knowledge of the Secondary National Curriculum, GCSE and A Level PE examination requirements Experience supporting students with GCSE and A Level PE preparation, including practical assessments, theory lessons and targeted interventions Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a passion for promoting physical activity and student development In return for the above you can expect to receive: A ..... full job details .....
