The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher who specialises in French to join their department. The ideal candidate will have a deep enthusiasm for teaching French, a strong understanding of the subject matter, and the ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in French that encourage linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the MFL department.
• Actively participate in language-related extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications:

• A relevant degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching French at the secondary school level.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in French.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with educational best practices.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service.
