Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you''ll help students engage with subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Studies, and broader Humanities topics, tailoring sessions to meet individual learning needs. Many learners require alternative educational provision and benefit from a tutor who can make learning accessible, engaging, and relevant. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy encouraging curiosity, developing critical thinking skills, and helping students build confidence in their abilities. Location: Portsmouth, Southampton and Surrounding Hampshire Areas Subject: Secondary Humanities Start Date: September Hours: Flexible Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour Type: 1:1 Tuition Requirements Minimum 6 months'' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles Strong knowledge of one or more Humanities subjects Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions Experience supporting students with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Patient, adaptable, and creative approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one Driver preferred; ..... full job details .....
