Secondary English Tutor Help Young People Build Confidence in EnglishWe''re looking for a Secondary English Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 support to children and young people across the BCP area.Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you''ll support learners who require alternative educational provision and benefit from tailored educational support. Many of the students we work with face barriers to learning and need a tutor who can help improve literacy, communication, comprehension, and written skills while building confidence and engagement with education.This is an excellent opportunity for education professionals who are passionate about English and enjoy helping learners achieve meaningful progress.Location: BCPSubject: Secondary EnglishHours: FlexiblePay Rate: 25- 30 per hourType: 1:1 Tuition RequirementsMinimum 6 months'' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar rolesStrong English subject knowledgeExperience supporting secondary-aged learnersAbility to plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessonsExperience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirableStrong communication and relationship-building skillsPatient, adaptable, and encouraging approachEnhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain oneDriver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across the BCP area Who You''ll SupportYou''ll work with young people who may ..... full job details .....
