TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Bradford, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher. The school provides a learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their confidence, analytical skills and understanding of English Literature and Language.The school is looking to take on a motivated English Teacher for day-to-day supply or long-term cover opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3, Key Stage 4 / KS4 and Key Stage 5 / KS5, supporting GCSE and A Level examination preparation, assessing student progress and maintaining effective classroom management.The successful English Teacher will have: Qualified Teacher Status / QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply) Experience teaching English Literature and English Language within a UK secondary school Strong knowledge of the Secondary National Curriculum, GCSE and A Level examination requirements Experience supporting students with GCSE and A Level preparation, including revision and targeted interventions Excellent classroom management and communication skills A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching In return for the above you can expect to receive: A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding process CPD courses and certificates as part of ..... full job details .....
