Secondary English Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and committed English Language and Literature Teacher to join a secondary school in South Warwickshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher looking for a permanant role after a sucessful probation term via agency (12-weeks). The successful candidate will inspire students to develop their reading, writing, analytical and communication skills, delivering engaging lessons across the secondary English curriculum. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons. Teach secondary school students in line with the relevant curriculum and examination specifications. Develop students'' literacy, comprehension, creative writing and analytical skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement. Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student learning and attainment. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching English Language and Literature within a secondary school setting. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English. Effective classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
