English Teacher (Part-Time, Fixed-Term)Start Date: 1 September 2026Contract: Fixed-term (Maternity Cover until May 2027)Hours: 10 hours per week (0.63 FTE), across 2-3 daysA leading international secondary school is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join their team on a part-time, fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.The RoleYou will deliver high-quality English teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5, supporting students within a bilingual and multicultural environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with experience or interest in both the British and French education systems.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach English across KS3, KS4 and KS5Contribute to curriculum development, including: Schemes of workAssessments and mock examinationsEnrichment activities and educational tripsCollaborate closely with departmental colleaguesParticipate actively in wider school lifeCandidate RequirementsRecognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE/QTS, or French equivalent such as CAPES, CAFEP or Agrégation, or equivalent)Experience teaching English at secondary levelStrong understanding of the French curriculum (essential)Ability to teach from a native or near-native English perspectiveExcellent teamwork skills, energy, and a proactive approachIdeal CandidateExperience teaching in France or within an international/French school network (desirable)Familiarity with both Baccalauréat and GCSE/A-level pathwaysAbility to teach across a fsecondary age ..... full job details .....
