Location: Essex

Position: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible Cover

Pay Rate: -120 - -130 per day (DOE)

This is an ideal role for graduates considering a career in teaching, sports coaches, or experienced youth workers looking for classroom experience without the planning and marking workload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise whole classes during the absence of the main subject teacher.

• Give clear instructions for set work and assist students with their tasks.

• Manage student behaviour effectively, upholding the high standards of the school.

• Ensure a safe, orderly environment where learning can continue seamlessly.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people aged 11-16.

• High level of confidence, patience, and strong communication skills.

• Good general education (GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths preferred).

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process one).
