Secondary Cover Supervisor

Exclusive Education is recruiting a confident and reliable-Cover Supervisor-for a long-term opportunity within a secondary school in-Salford. Both-part-time and full-time-applications will be considered. The successful candidate will primarily provide classroom cover across-Maths, Science and STEM-related subjects, supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher and ensuring lessons run smoothly.-

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising whole classes during teacher absences
• Delivering pre-set lesson materials and instructions
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensuring students remain engaged and complete assigned work
• Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons
• Supporting students to maintain a positive learning environment

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Confidence working with secondary-aged students
• A degree in a STEM related subject is ideal-
• A proactive and professional approach to classroom supervision
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
