Second in Maths

Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced Second in Maths-for a mainstream secondary school-based within the Bolton-area.

The role will start on 1st-September and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The position will involve supporting the HOD as well as other maths teachers within the department and delivering engaging maths lessons at both KS3 & KS4.

Previous experience working as second in Maths or above is essential to be considered for this role.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working as Second in Maths or above
• Ability to teach Maths up to KS4
• Strong leadership skills
• A passion for the subject
• Ability to raise standards throughout
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to differentiate lessons accordingly
• Good behaviour management strategies
• Hold right to work in the UK
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
• Hold QTS or equivalent
