Seasonal Ecologist

Job title:-Seasonal Ecologist-

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary: -25,000 - -28,000

6 month contract, with the potential to turn permanent

I am keen to speak with Graduate/Seasonal Ecologists, based in the West Midlands, who are on the lookout for a new opportunity and available for the coming survey season. The-successful candidate will-assist-with habitat and protected species surveys, whilst working at a multi-disciplinary-consultancy, with a great reputation and varied projects.

Requirements:

• Relevant-degree-e.g.-Ecology, Environmental Studies, Conservations-etc-

• An understanding of UK habitats and survey-methodologies

• Willingness to travel within UK Midlands-

• Good communication-skills-

• Flexible and proactive approach to work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team-

• Full UK driving license

Responsibilities-

• Conducting protected species surveys-

• Supporting the-preparation-of Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and report

• Inputting and managing ecological data

• Liasing with project managers,-client-and other member of-the team

• Ensuring compliance with UK legislation and best-practice
