Are you an experienced Import Freight Operator looking for a stable role with a growing logistics business and a supportive team?

We''re looking for a detail-focused Deep Sea Import Operator to join our London Gateway team, managing the smooth running of import shipments and working closely with customers, suppliers and shipping lines.

• -32,00038,000 salary, depending on experience
• 25 days'' annual leave
• 1 day WFH per week once fully trained and established

You''ll take ownership of the day-to-day import operation, ensuring shipments are handled accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing deep sea import shipments from booking through to completion
• Processing bookings and operational documentation
• Invoicing and completing operational files
• Liaising with shipping lines, customers and suppliers
• Resolving invoice and supplier queries
• Maintaining accurate operational records
• Supporting the wider operations team and providing holiday cover
• Following AEO procedures and company processes
• Working towards CargoWise One accreditation

You''ll ideally have:

• Previous freight forwarding experience, with a strong focus on imports
• Good knowledge of deep sea import procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Good IT and Microsoft Office knowledge
• A proactive, can-do attitude
• The ability to work independently once trained while contributing positively to a close-knit team

CargoWise One experience is desirable but not essential.
