Sea and Air Freight Manager

We are actively looking to engage shipping, freight forwarding professionals with as passion for sea and air freight forwarding for a new role as a Sea and Air Freight Manager in Castle Donington, Leicestershire on a hybrid basis! Client Details My client is a SME freight forwarding business, with huge ambitions for growth, in the freight and shipping industry. You will be joining a fast-pace environment assisting in finding logistics solutions for some of the world''s largest industrial, retail and FMCG based customers. My client focuses on searching air freight, sea freight and road freight solutions, which are both cost effective and time sensitive. Job Description As a Sea and Air Freight Manager you will report in to the Freight Branch Director on a daily basis. You will be responsible for the following areas for responsibility across the Castle Donington office in Leicestershire: Managing a small team of 10-12 sea / ocean and air freight forwarders - including their training, development and engagement. Overseeing the team responsible for preparing sea and air freight pricing and customer quotations - informing about the freight prices, port charges, cost of special documents, insurance prices as well as prices for handling the goods.
