Sea & Air Export Operations

We are partnering with an established freight forwarder based in Newcastle to find an experienced Sea & Air Export Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, hardworking team with a low staff turnover and a vibrant office culture.

The Role

• Manage end-to-end sea and air export operations, with a primary focus on sea freight.
• Handle cross-trade shipments to various global destinations.
• Maintain full ownership of customer accounts, building strong working relationships from initial handover by the sales team.
• Complete all associated documentation and customs entries.
• Coordinate seamlessly with carriers, agents, and clients to ensure smooth transit.
• Contribute to a collaborative, outgoing, and hardworking team environment.

What We''re Looking For

• Experience within a Freight Forwarder
• Experience in Sea Export Operations, Air Exports desirable
• Confident managing operations end-to-end, experience handling customs entries is preferred but not essential
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to take full ownership of client accounts
• A proactive, hardworking approach and a great fit for a sociable team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
