SDDC Manager

Contract SDDC Manager, London, Hybrid, 6 Months. Job Description:We are seeking an experienced SDDC Manager to oversee and execute upgrades from VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.0.2 to 9.1 and 5.2.2 to 9.1. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ESXi/vCenter, NSX networking, and vSAN storage.Key Responsibilities:- Manage and execute the upgrade process for VCF environments from version 9.0.2 to 9.1 and 5.2.2 to 9.1.- Ensure minimal disruption and downtime during upgrades.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration.- Monitor system performance post-upgrade and resolve any issues promptly.- Maintain documentation of processes and configurations.Required Skills and Experience:- Extensive experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter.- Proficient in NSX networking technologies.- Strong knowledge of vSAN storage solutions.- Proven track record of managing and executing complex upgrade projects.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:- VMware certifications in relevant areas.- Experience with previous VCF upgrades.- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting.ECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. ..... full job details .....
