Senior DevOps Engineer Contract: 12 monthsLocation: Hybrid (London)Clearance: SC andamp; NPPV3 (must be Met Clearance)Rate: £500-£550/day Outside IR35We''re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with active Met Police clearance to support a large-scale cloud transformation programme, designing and delivering secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure. Key Responsibilities Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps and Git.Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker, Kubernetes/AKS and Helm.Develop secure cloud landing zones, governance and infrastructure aligned with security and compliance requirements.Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus and Grafana.Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Python, PowerShell and Bash.Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve platform performance, resilience and availability.Work closely with Architecture, Security, Cloud and Engineering teams to deliver robust cloud solutions. Essential Experience Strong commercial DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience.Extensive Azure experience.Strong Terraform/Infrastructure as Code experience.Kubernetes/AKS and Helm.Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps CI/CD.Docker, Linux and Scripting experience.Experience working in secure or regulated environments.
