Supply Desk is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Horsham, seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, adapted to meet the needs of pupils with a range of learning differences.
The Role:

You will deliver engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, following a modified UK national curriculum designed to suit diverse learning abilities. The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
A relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (Essential)
Experience teaching Science, ideally within an SEN or inclusive setting
Knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies and SEN best practices
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A current, valid DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one
A passion for supporting students with additional learning needs
