Talentmark are recruiting for a Scientist to join a small biotechnology company that develop and supply PCR kits, to be based at their site in Harlow, Essex on a permanent basis.This role would suit someone with a solid technical foundation, proven laboratory competence, and a can do attitude.The role:Provide technical support to customers via email and phone, and occasionally in person. Design, optimisation, and validation of PCR-based genotyping assays.DNA extraction, quantification, and quality assessment.Contribute to internal RandD and new product development projects.Perform QC testing of reagents, PCR master mixes, and instrumentation.Your Background:A degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Plant Science, or a related biological discipline.Demonstrable hands-on experience in a molecular biology laboratory.Experience with PCR and standard DNA handling techniques.Apply: It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
