Science Tutor (KS3 & KS4) - Tunbridge Wells

Are you a passionate Science teacher or experienced tutor looking for a flexible opportunity alongside your current role?

We are seeking a dedicated Science Tutor to support secondary-aged students in Tunbridge Wells, delivering engaging and personalised tuition sessions across KS3 and KS4 Science.

The role involves delivering two one-hour sessions every Tuesday evening:

• 5:00pm - KS3 Science
• 6:00pm - KS4 Science

You will have the freedom to develop your own programme of study, tailoring lessons to meet the needs of your students while working alongside the National Curriculum. The sessions are designed to provide additional support, build confidence, and help students achieve their academic goals.

Students are a mixture of motivated grammar and non-grammar pupils, with tuition covering all three Science disciplines:

• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience teaching or tutoring Science at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 Science
• The ability to create engaging, student-focused lessons
• A flexible and supportive approach to meeting individual learning needs
• A passion for helping students develop confidence and achieve their potential
