Do you have experience or interest in working with a Science lab?We are seeking a Science Technician to join secondary schools across East London. This exciting and varied role offers the opportunity to work alongside teachers and students, ensuring the smooth running of practical lessons and the safe operation of specialist equipment.Key Responsibilities:Assist teaching staff and students during practical sessions across a range of Science disciplines Demonstrate techniques and provide practical support and guidance during lessonsEnsure the safe and effective operation of tools, machinery, and equipment, conducting regular maintenance and safety checksManage stock and materials, monitor inventory, and place orders when requiredMaintain a tidy, well-organised workshop environment that supports efficient teaching and learningSupport the creation of teaching aids, classroom displays, and project materialsAssist with the set-up and dismantling of exhibitions and student projectsPromote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all practices meet current regulationsWhat We''re Looking For:Previous experience in a workshop, lab, or technician role (school-based experience desirable but not essential)Confident using and maintaining machinery, tools, and equipment safelyStrong organisational and communication ..... full job details .....
