Science Technician Location: Kensington and Chelsea, W10 Contract: Long-term Salary: 26,000- 33,000 (dependent on experience) Start Date: September 2026 Commutable From: Hammersmith, Westminster, Ealing, Brent, Fulham The Opportunity: Long Term Futures are seeking a proactive and organised Science Technician to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Kensington and Chelsea area from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to support a thriving Science department by preparing practical experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for pupils across KS3, KS4, and KS5. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teachers to deliver high-quality practical Science lessons. Your Key Responsibilities: Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical Science lessons Support teachers during practical demonstrations and experiments where required Maintain laboratories, equipment, and preparation rooms to a high standard Ensure chemicals and equipment are stored safely and in line with Health and Safety regulations Monitor and maintain stock levels, ordering equipment and consumables when required Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of laboratory equipment Support the department with administrative tasks, displays, and practical assessments Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with COSHH regulations Requirements: Previous experience working as a Science ..... full job details .....
