The Role
As a Science Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment and materials for practical science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure lessons run smoothly and safely, contributing to an engaging and effective learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and clear away practical experiments and demonstrations
• Ensure all equipment and materials are maintained to a high standard
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
• Support teaching staff with lesson preparation and resource organisation
• Manage stock levels and order supplies where necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge across the sciences
• A relevant degree is preferred
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
