Science Technician (Physics) - TemporaryWorking for a well-established school based in Reading, this temporary Science Technician (Physics) position is working 28 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, and is paying approximately 14.40- 15.00 per hour, depending on experience.This is an ASAP start, providing temporary cover within the Science department.Duties:Prepare and set up equipment and apparatus for Physics lessonsSupport practical lessons and examination practicalsMaintain and organise laboratory equipmentProvide day-to-day support to Physics teaching staffAssist across other Science subjects when requiredEnsure equipment and practical areas are prepared safely and efficientlyExperience required:Previous laboratory, Science Technician or relevant practical experienceA Physics, Engineering or Electronics background would be advantageousStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsConfident working both independently and as part of a teamComfortable working within a school environmentThis role is subject to the relevant safeguarding and Enhanced DBS checks. ..... full job details .....
