Contract Term: 1 term contract covering illness

Salary: -22,000 - -24,000 FTE per annum

A leading grammar school in Birmingham is seeking a Science Technician from April 2026 for one term to cover illness. This is a full time position.

This School aims for all their learner-to be well equipped for life beyond school, with a deep knowledge, understanding and lifelong enthusiasm for the subjects they are studying. Through the School''s curricular and extra curricular provision, it wants to develop pupils of excellent character, responsible global citizens who will make the world a better place through their kindness, thoughtfulness, confidence and resilience.

This role will involve helping to prepare the materials for Science lessons, ensuring the Science department is well stocked with the required equipment and helping out in lessons where applicable. The successful candidate will ideally have a Science degree and have previous Science Technician experience in a school or laboratory experience.
