This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of engaging science lessons and helping students make the most of their learning.The position is available immediately and will initially run until October half term, although there may be the opportunity for the placement to continue beyond this date.The RoleAs a Science Technician, you will work closely with the Science Department to ensure practical lessons run smoothly and safely. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing equipment, materials and resources for practical science lessonsSupporting teachers with demonstrations and practical activitiesMaintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring it is stored correctlyManaging stock levels and ordering supplies when requiredEnsuring health and safety procedures are followed at all timesAssisting with the organisation and upkeep of science laboratories and preparation areas The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who: Has previous experience working in a laboratory, educational setting or similar environmentIs organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks effectivelyHas a strong understanding of health and safety practicesWorks well both ..... full job details .....
