Science Teaching AssistantSecondary SchoolWest LondonFull Time / Term Time Mon to Fri - 8.30am to 4.30pmWe are currently working with a Mainstream Secondary School who are looking for a Science Teaching Assistant to work in the subject departments and this will run for the entire academic year.Situated in a West London location, close to a tube and a train station and plenty of local bus routes.The school is based on the outskirts of london, with open spaces, various new facilities and a wider school community. The role will entail supporting mathematics and the three sciences. You will also be expected to support children with learning needs/ special educational needs also. A lot of the TAs who work there go on to be teachers. The school offers a variety of continued professional development and training throughout the year.Graduate Maths / Science Teaching Assistant - Key skills and experience needed:University degree in either mathematics, accounting, biology, chemistry, physics or other related subjects.Previous support work within a school or other child related experienceProfessional mannerEnthusiasm and friendly approachExperience or knowledge within special educational needs.
