We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable science teacher to work in a secondary school in York. We are open to both early career teachers and experienced teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements.
• Assess, monitor, and report on students'' progress and attainment.
• Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
• Support students'' academic and personal development through individualised instruction and guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
