This is a fantastic opportunity to drive curriculum development and mentor colleagues. What you''ll be doing: You''ll be designing and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (A-level), alongside broader Science teaching. As Second in Science, you will support the Head of Department with curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and staff development, with a focus on Chemistry. It''s about fostering rigorous scientific inquiry, encouraging practical experimentation, and developing students'' analytical and problem-solving skills. What we''re looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Chemistry. Demonstrable leadership experience or a clear readiness to step into a Second in Department role.
