Science Teacher

Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Dewsbury. This is a full-time contract position running from January 2026 until July 2026, covering the remainder of the academic year.The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students to achieve their full potential.Responsibilities:Plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues and contribute to wider school life.Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.Excellent classroom management and communication skills.Why Join Veritas Education?Paid to scale from Day 1.Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement.Access to CPD opportunities.How to Apply: If you are passionate about Science and committed to inspiring young minds, we would love to hear from you.
