Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Daventry who are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about their subject and wants to work within a positive school environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for Science.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, creating a positive classroom environment and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

You will work alongside an experienced Science department, contributing to a collaborative team and delivering a broad and engaging curriculum. The school is looking for someone who can build strong relationships with pupils, maintain high expectations and make Science accessible and enjoyable.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Science within a secondary setting
• Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
• The ability to deliver engaging and well-differentiated lessons
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to supporting pupils'' academic and personal development
• A positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach
