As a Science Teacher, you will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and subject specialism. You''ll be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, promoting scientific enquiry, and helping students develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Teach your specialist subject alongside the wider Science curriculum

• Deliver practical investigations that develop students'' scientific thinking and problem-solving skills

• Monitor, assess, and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback

• Differentiate learning to ensure every student is challenged and supported

• Contribute to the planning and ongoing development of the Science curriculum

• Take part in departmental initiatives, enrichment activities, and STEM events

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and promote high-quality teaching across the department

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• A degree in a Science-related subject

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science education

• The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students of varying abilities

• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

• A positive, reflective, and collaborative approach to teaching

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

• ECTs are welcome to apply and will benefit from a comprehensive induction and mentoring programme

• Full-time role starting September 2026
