A secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for both experienced teachers and those at the beginning of their teaching career.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential opportunities at KS5)
Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that support student progress
Encourage interest and understanding in science through practical and theoretical learning
Use assessment to monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all students
Work collaboratively with the Science department to share ideas and resources
Support extra-curricular science activities where possible
Create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
A degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science)
Good subject knowledge and classroom management skills
A genuine interest in helping students learn and achieve their best
Strong communication and organisational skills
Willingness to take part in professional development and school life
