Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential opportunities at KS5)
Foster a love for science while encouraging critical thinking and curiosity in every lesson
Contribute to curriculum development within a collaborative and innovative Science department
Use assessment data to monitor pupil progress and tailor learning to individual needs
Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Participate in enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, and other extracurricular opportunities
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards across the school
What We''re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, or working towards it
A degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science)
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management skills
Passion for teaching and inspiring students of all abilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development
