Pay Rates: andpound;163 - andpound;230 per day (dependent on experience)

Supply Desk are currently recruiting a flexible and dedicated Science Teacher for a long-term opportunity at a secondary school in Medway, starting as soon as possible and continuing through to the end of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a difference, particularly with students who have SEND, are from vulnerable backgrounds, or have varying abilities.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs. While specialism in Biology is advantageous, the ability to confidently deliver Biology, Chemistry, and Physics up to KS4 is essential.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a flexible and committed Science Teacher with a genuine passion for education.
• Have experience delivering KS3 and KS4 Science, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Be confident and adaptable, able to manage a range of learning needs within a diverse classroom setting.
• Have experience supporting students with SEND, from vulnerable backgrounds, or those with varied academic abilities.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management strategies and a positive classroom presence.
• Be open to long-term teaching opportunities with potential for progression.

Requirements:

• QTS or QTLS status.
• Recent UK classroom experience teaching Science (KS3 andamp; KS4).
• Willingness to undergo or already hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Ability to provide professional references reflecting recent teaching experience.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• A full and up-to-date CV including details of employment/education history and explanations for any gaps.
