Position Overview

An Ofsted-rated andldquo;Goodandrdquo; secondary school close to the heart of Salisbury is seeking a Science Teacher to join their growing team as soon as possible. This is a full-time role running until December 2025, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

The school currently supports around 850 students aged 11andndash;16 and is continuing to expand, making this an exciting time to join. Youandrsquo;ll play a key role in inspiring curiosity and achievement in Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and forward-thinking department.

What Youandrsquo;ll Be Doing

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, adapting lessons for mixed abilities.
• Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons that bring Science to life.
• Monitoring student progress and providing meaningful feedback.
• Creating a classroom culture of curiosity, respect, and high achievement.
• Collaborating with a welcoming Science department and contributing to whole-school initiatives.

• A qualified teacher with UK QTS (or on the path to gaining QTS).
• Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4.
